Our Approach
Since our relaunch in 2020, CCUK has focussed its projects in four key pillars of activity:
Networking & International Clusters
Education & Workforce Skills
Beauty & The Bioeconomy
Research & Innovation
This has allowed us to channel our efforts and selection of projects into those areas that we feel to be most relevant to our members and to the wider industry, and in line with our mission to connect the beauty industry supply chain.
CCUK has linked many people in companies in the sector through events, newsletters and a growing network of experts.
With this key area of focus, our goal is to safeguard and promote the skills required in the cosmetics and personal care industry, particularly in STEM areas.
CCUK has established a Beauty and the Bioeconomy taskforce together with BBIA to raise the profile of sustainably sourced bio-derived ingredients.
Our activities are directed towards championing STEM projects and researching the boundaries between psychology, dermatology, well-being and beauty
