CCUK January 2026 News

As we start the new year, it’s traditionally the time to begin with resolutions and to take stock of the past year and look forward to the year ahead. For CCUK, 2025 was our 5th anniversary and we saw our membership increase to 60 companies. This year we plan to continue that steady growth, as well as holding and participating in a number of events, beginning with our webinar on January 21st. See our events calendar for details.

At CCUK we aim to be the bridge that connects organisations with each other, through the power of networking and collaboration. Our pillars are also key drivers for our projects and activities, with Education & Skills being a key one. Following our in person members’ networking day last year at the University of Bradford, we were delighted to hear that students from the university were given placements at our member, Orean. Read more about this later in this newsletter. Not only that, ahead of National Apprenticeships week next month, as we have already reported, our member Tiro is working with the Society of Cosmetic Scientists (SCS) on a brand new Level 3 cosmetic technician apprenticeship scheme. The SCS has also recently announced that applications are open for its 2026 Mentor Scheme, which aims ‘to build capability, confidence and connection across the sector’.
