CCUK and Industry Events January 2026

CCUK is a not-for-profit trade organisation with networking as its primary mission, so we are always looking for ways to collaborate and share opportunities, either online, or in person, during major tradeshows and conferences in the UK and overseas, where we can give opportunities for our members to shine and help them connect with the whole beauty industry supply chain at home and abroad.

Our webinar, ‘The Hair Care Gap’ on January 21st, proved to be our biggest audience ever, with over 160 online and nearly 300 registered. Moderated by our hosts Rachael Davison-White and Gill Westgate, the speakers from THG Labs, Croda Beauty, Valogen Biosciences and TRI Princeton, tackled the topic of whether or not there is a discrepancy between development in hair care versus skin care and if so, how can the gap be bridged? Our next collaborations will be at in person events in February and March, so if you are not already signed up to attend, please check the events diary for all the details. We are deep into planning for our participation in the next tranche of events in April, May and June, so stay tuned for further details!

Education and skills is an important pillar for CCUK and several of our members, plus network associations, CTPA and SCS, were at the Catalyst Science Discovery Centre in Widnes at the end of the month to take part in Chemistry at Work Week.
