Celebrating Milestones in the UK Beauty Industry

A Month of Celebrations

June was a month of significant milestones. While CCUK celebrated our 5th anniversary at our annual members’ networking day on June 17, we are still young compared to the CTPA, who marked an impressive 80 years at a glamorous dinner in London. Our directors, Olivia Santoni and Jane Evison, attended this event alongside our member, Croda, who celebrated an incredible 100 years in business. Longevity in this industry is truly remarkable!

New Format for Our E-Newsletter

The keen-eyed among our readers will notice that we have introduced a new header for this e-newsletter. We are shifting to a more focused format. Our monthly newsletter has been replaced with two editions: CCUK and Industry News, which you are reading now, and CCUK and Industry Events. These will be sent out mid-month and at the end of the month, respectively. Keep an eye out for them in your inbox!

Additionally, we have refreshed our branding. This includes new images for our pillars and a cleaner website design. Our famous ‘scary lady’ image has transformed into our ‘lovely lady’, maintaining her presence as an integral part of our journey moving forward.

Anniversary Celebrations and Industry Insights

Our 5th anniversary celebrations at the annual members’ networking day, hosted at the University of Bradford, are highlighted later in this newsletter. We also launched our third industry careers survey on that day. I encourage you to complete this survey, as we will present the results during SCS Formulate in November. Continuing with the theme of education, we include a report from the Big Education Debate held at ChemUK.

Membership Relaunch

As we celebrate our 5-year milestone and our membership continues to grow, we will be relaunching our membership offer starting October 1st. New features will include:
